Rule 32, Enjoy the Little Things

It's been one of those weeks. I've had a roller-coaster of a time and I have to say that I have no idea how I am going to survive the 4 days. Work from sun up to sun down seems to be the only way to go. I have come to figure out that I may be squandering the little free time I have left. I sit and sit and sit and only when I am forced to move do I move. Tonight I took a walk around in the open fields and watched the galaxies spin and churn around us. We have so little power in the grand scheme of the universe and we have to make the most of the little time we have on this planet. I have come to a conclusion tonight is that I am not going to wait for an opportunity to hit me. I am going to go out and get it. I am tired of wanting things and not having them. I'm going to go get my destiny and enjoy my life. I have no reason to stop and I have no reason to give up. The world is waiting. It is up to me to take control of it. Here goes nothing.

For Whom the Bell Tolls

I'm sitting here thinking about all the craziness in the universe, as usual,  and I think I have found a solution to getting myself pissed off, thrashed out, and just plain stoked about life. Fucking Metallica! They have this energy about them that drives you in the best way. There is a reason they are the kings of thrash metal and I feel like I could get used to listening to them for a long time. Its funny how you can find something so uplifting like realizing just what you want in music from being so pissed that you just want to headbang and thrash around. Metallica let me know the next time you are in the Pacific Northwest cause I would love to come watch you guys blow my mind all over again.

I'm Breaking the Rules, and I'm Taking Control.

Hi Blog it's been a while. I know that I haven't been the most faithful but I have been busy. I've come to a couple of conclusions in the past few weeks and I just need to put them down on paper/internet. I have come to discover what may be a secret plot to control my life and I have to say I'm not thrilled about it. I am the only person who can make my decisions and no amount of pushing is going to change that. I'm in college now, and adult now. And as I wrote in my recent song "Give Me the Right" "I'm breaking the rules and I'm taking control, and I demand that you give me the right." Now that song was about rock n roll but it still stands up to what I am trying to prove. I don't what anyone to manipulate me, control me, run my life. I am done with guilt trips, and lies. I have a life to live and I can't please everyone, but I have to please myself. I am owed that much. So I'm taking control of my life and finally going to accomplish things that I want to. And no one can stop me.

The Bigger They Come....

The Brachiosaurus is called such because like his namesake they don't come any bigger. Built with superhuman strength and durability the behemoth super can lift objects weighing upwards of tons. He has proven to be bullet proof and is rumored to has with stood the blast of an artillery shell. His soldier like background gives him a combative edge and he is an asset in the field of battle. They don't come any bigger or hit any harder than the Brachiosaurus.

The Griffon has a unique superpower. He has the ability to take any object and transform it's chemical make up into any other chemical make up. This includes the ability to create life. His signature is a Raven. He Always has one around him that is is able to transform into what ever tools he needs. The only thing he could not manipulate was himself. He is the mystic of the original super squadron. His power is unparalleled. He is The Griffon.

Wrap Me in a Bolt of Lightning

Little is known about the Green Streak. A superhuman with such extreme speed that no one has ever witnessed the true face of what spawned the name. The Green Streak is just that to the standard bystander, a streak of green racing around within cities, states, countries, the world, there are no limits. The fastest living thing in recorded history and it has never been witnessed for more than a few moments. The Streak has been tried and challenged by the modern speedster for a land speed record but to no avail...so far...

Call me a Sinner

The Skull is the second addition to my list of superheroes. He is a little more super in The Captain. He has one ability that plays out passively. Time and Space freeze at any moment he would normally die. This ability has saved his life multiple times. He also carries a walking stick incrusted with a skull on its end. He is said to have received his powers from a flawed deal with the devil that he later turned his back on and ran. He now fights against the forces of evil along side The Captain and a number of other superheroes, to be named later, who will go into the record books as the first team of superheroes.

...Comes Great Responsibility!

It began in 1931, in the middle of the Great Depression. The first time the United States had its own “superhero”. He appeared out of what seemed like nowhere. His name was simply the Captain. He was magnificent to behold, the peak of human potential. He was six foot two and two hundred and twenty pounds, all muscle. His costume hid his identity but didn’t stand out in a crowd. It was a black button-up shirt with the sleeves stopping halfway down his massive biceps. His pants were tan riding pants, and were covered by black leather boots that came up to just under his knees. He wore a black officer’s cap and black gloves. On his face he wore a domino mask, just enough to hide his true face.

With Great Power...

I've been spending a lot of my free time catching up on the television I missed since I have been TV deprived at college and I started with the only way I know how; Smallville. All of a sudden my past has been blown open and I have found a series of old files of mountains of superheroes. I created a universe. I made the lives of over 100 people and I now intend to release those lives for the world. I write. That is my passion. I tell through various mediums and now I intend to show the world my stories.

Here I Go Again On My Own

Here is how summer works. We sit and moan and whine about how we have to make it through school so we can get to summer and then the moment we get out of that last class we are the happiest we have been all year. I mean Alice Cooper wrote a song about school being out and it topped a potential song about Christmas morning for the happiest moment in the year of a child. But two days later we are sitting around doing nothing, just like we wanted, and we hit that wall. The Wall of Boredom! We all of a sudden long to go back to school, maybe for the friends, maybe for the enrichment of our lives, or maybe for the sole reason that it will just give us something to do for goodness sakes! I'm not going to deny that I am having some withdrawals as well. I miss being at college and interacting with the people up there. But I have a few things I need to do and a life to live as of late. This is gonna be a long summer filled with urges to visit friends, and find out where I stand between life at home and the life that I will someday call home. Here goes nothing summer, bring it on.

Electronic Supersonic

So, my computer has been on the fritz recently and it is quite distressing. But it has shown me that I strongly value technology. I found also how much the universe values technology. I can't actually pass many of my classes without a computer to either do online homework or type papers, etc. I've started reading Nikki Sixx's new book This is Gonna Hurt and it has really opened my eyes to how the world works. The majority of the people in the universe have a very small lens. They look through it and then they refuse to widen it. I think that Mr. Sixx is a fucking genius. He is truly my favorite person to listen to talk about life, death, and all things that need to be said. I feel like our lives become so dependent on something and then when those things are taken away and people freak out. This is the process of life. I have nothing more to say than I hope my computer works for the remainder of the year and have a good night.

Boredom and Confusion

If I've come to learn one thing in the last week or so its that sometimes you just have to be a little bit rebellious and that everything is better in company. I've currently been on my computer while simultaneously watching movie after movie. Which is one of those things I do every time I have a lot of free time in my house, however after a while this can get boring. But in truth I tend to get bored doing this. But not at the moment. I think it's a combination of the fact that I have a bunch of movies I have never seen and the fact that I have Reid here too. It's quite a bit more exciting to have this moment to kick back and enjoy that we don't seem to notice it until we are sick of it. I mean it's interesting, and I'm sure people have said this before, how we moan and whine about wanting a day off when we have to go to work or school or what ever but the moment we get more than a weekend off we can't wait to go back because we need something to do. So we whine and moan about how bored we are. But the moment we have somewhere to go other than our own houses and then we can't wait to get back once its been too much. I've been out with friends having a fantastic time and then all of a sudden out of nowhere I just stopped wanting to be out and about. I think the way we prevent boredom is a combination of who we are with, what we are doing, and how long we doing the activity. Or something like that. Until next time world over and out.

So...

It's currently 1 in the morning on a Friday/Saturday depending on how you look at it. And I've just been watching the Social Network, you know that movie starring Jessie Eisenberg about the creation of Facebook, which is actually really good. But I'm not here as a movie critic, or a music critic as my blog's name could seemingly hint to but actually as a life critic. I'm an avid writer and I feel that it is good to keep up on writing something and so blogging it is. Anyway back to the Social Network, which has Mark (Jessie Eisenberg) blogging about his initial "Facemash" project in the beginning and being an actor I tend to pick up his rapid bloggy speech pattern. So I thought "I should blog now since I'm already in this state of mind." Which is what led me to where I am now, sitting on my computer, typing my thoughts into an online forum that all the world will eventually see. I am here to more or less comment on the world through my own life experiences. And that is where I stand. I have no idea how or where these comments will come about but I will just have to live that adventure when I come to it. Until then you will have to hold your breath in antici...pation.
